Build a visual email
Templates and Marketing share Email studio. Start from a welcome note, newsletter or product launch, then drag components onto the canvas or click to add them. Select a component to edit its content, links, colours, alignment, typography and spacing. Text can also be edited directly on the canvas.
Available components include headings, text, images, logos, buttons, dividers, spacers, hero sections, product cards, two-column sections, lists, social links, discount codes and code blocks. Columns accept leaf components; nested columns are not supported.
Edit on desktop or mobile
Use the drag grip to reorder blocks, or the Up and Down controls for keyboard and touch input. On narrow screens, Add, Layers and Style controls open as bottom sheets. New components are added below the current selection. Undo and redo retain up to 50 edits.
Save, preview and publish
Save your template version or broadcast draft before closing. Edits in the open editor are not automatically uploaded. A saved template still needs explicit publication. A saved broadcast remains a draft until scheduled.
Desktop and mobile previews use the same generated HTML saved by the API. Review the plain-text version and test important layouts in actual email clients; browser previews cannot guarantee identical rendering everywhere.
Use existing HTML
Existing HTML opens in HTML mode. Moving to visual editing requires acknowledgement because arbitrary HTML cannot be reconstructed as editable blocks. Use template variables for dynamic content and the image library for assets.
Marketing automatically adds the sender's postal address and a personal unsubscribe footer outside the editable design. Free and Starter outgoing emails also include a linked SendPanda footer badge; active Growth and Scale subscriptions remove it.
Edit with an AI agent
MCP tools can create starters, preview designs and edit the same saved visual JSON used by the studio. Management access is required. Saving a design does not publish or send it. Private preview snapshots expire after 15 minutes and require project access.
