Use case · October 2026

Transactional email and a newsletter on one plan.

Password resets and the product newsletter share one monthly quota. Growth is $29 for 100,000 recipients. A newsletter to 10,000 more people is $34 with overage enabled, not a second subscription.

SendPanda counts recipients. One email to a hundred people uses a hundred. Transactional mail, marketing, replies you send from the inbox and mail you forward all share that quota. Incoming mail does not: it has its own daily limit.

The homepage comparison is 100,000 transactional emails plus a newsletter to 10,000 people, 110,000 recipients in total. Growth includes 100,000, so the extra 10,000 is $5 at $0.50 per 1,000. Overage is off until you enable it and set a cap. Without it, sends pause at the quota.

Resend's managed pair for that workload is $115: Pro plus Pro Marketing, on the October 2026 list prices we publish. Sending newsletters through Resend's email API with your own consent handling is a different workflow. Postmark, SendGrid and Mailgun do not include that newsletter in the transactional prices on our comparison table.

You still bring a real list and a real unsubscribe. SendPanda is not a fit for millions of emails a month. The largest self-serve plan is 200,000. Dedicated IPs are Enterprise.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does a newsletter use the same limit as password resets?

Yes. Marketing and transactional recipients share the monthly quota. Incoming mail has a separate daily limit.

What happens at the limit?

Sends pause until the quota resets, unless you are on a paid plan and you have opted in to overage at $0.50 per 1,000, capped at an amount you choose.

When we're not the right fit: if you send millions of emails a month, Amazon SES directly or SendGrid Pro will serve you better. Our largest plan is 200,000 a month; for dedicated IPs or more volume, email us about Enterprise. And if you need Outlook or Apple Mail to connect straight to a mailbox, that is not ready yet: our inbox is for support-style mail with daily limits, and you can forward any mailbox to Outlook or Gmail meanwhile.
