For 100,000 transactional emails plus a newsletter to 10,000 subscribers, the total is 110,000 recipients. SendPanda Growth costs $34 when optional overage is enabled: $29 for 100,000 plus $5 for the extra 10,000. Resend Pro plus Pro Marketing is $115 for this workload. Resend also permits newsletters through its email API with your own consent and unsubscribe handling, which is a different workflow from this managed-newsletter comparison.
Both services offer inboxes. Resend includes 3 and counts inbox sends and receives against transactional quota. SendPanda has separate incoming limits, with replies and forwarding using sending quota. Its dashboard inbox supports reading, replying and forwarding to Outlook or Gmail; it is not an IMAP mailbox.
Resend's free tier is larger at 3,000 emails a month; SendPanda Free is 1,000, with no card. The difference is that SendPanda's paid plans cost less at 100,000.

For the send call, yes. Verify your domain, create a key and update your integration. Templates can be pasted in as HTML and edited visually. SendPanda newsletters share your sending quota. Resend offers a separate managed marketing plan, and both services include inboxes. Choose based on your volume and workflow.
Why is the Resend price sometimes $35 and sometimes $115?
$35 is the October 2026 price for 100,000 transactional emails. $115 adds the managed marketing plan for 10,000 contacts. SendPanda Growth is $29 for 100,000 total recipients, or $34 for 110,000 with optional overage enabled. Without enabled overage, sending pauses at the quota.
When we're not the right fit: if you send millions of emails a month, Amazon SES directly or SendGrid Pro will serve you better. Our largest plan is 200,000 a month; for dedicated IPs or more volume, email us about Enterprise. And if you need Outlook or Apple Mail to connect straight to a mailbox, that is not ready yet: our inbox is for support-style mail with daily limits, and you can forward any mailbox to Outlook or Gmail meanwhile.
